Step 2: Complete the Application Form
    1. Open the downloaded form.
    2. Fill in all the required fields with accurate and up-to-date information.
    3. Review the form to ensure all information is correct and complete.
Step 3: Prepare Necessary ID Documents
    1. Gather all necessary identification documents as specified in the application form.
    2. Ensure that all documents are clear and legible.
Step 4: Upload the Completed Form and ID Documents
    1. Return to the Upload Section of our website.
    2. Select the completed application form and the required ID documents from your device.
    3. Click the upload button to submit your application.

Note:  This is  a Group Insurance cover and the Package selected applies equally to those who Opt-in. 

  • A member becomes eligible to join the Benevolent and Welfare Fund membership  after paying for minimum 2 shares ( 2 @ Kes10,000 =Kes 20,000)
  • No exit Age limit-For life subject to no breaks in cover  except for children (Up to 25 years with proof of being a fulltime student ).
  • Each Family member to be considered independently in cases where a member and the spouse are members.
  • Children are considered from 2 weeks of birth to 21 years of age.
  • There is no medical examination required for the product.
  • Legal maximum Funeral benefit limit in Kenya is Kes100,00 per child
  • If a member is found to have defrauded the Sacco on any welfare claim, the amount paid will be deducted from the member’s deposits or any other payment due. The member will in addition be required to pay a penalty of ksh.20,000.

How to Claim

All claims must be notified to the Group Scheme administrator at the earliest and not later than six (6) months after the occurrence.

1.All eligible members must be declared at commencement of the cover for claims to be payable. Claims for individuals who have not been declared shall not be admissible.

2.The policy pays a maximum of five (5) claims per family per year Fully documented funeral claims are payable within 48 hrs.

3.The Principal Member is the automatic ultimate beneficiary for all the dependents. In the event of the principal member’s death then the proceeds of the cover will be paid to the nominated beneficiary.

4. Claims for members with incomplete dates of birth shall not be admissible

5.The maximum amount payable for children below 10 years is KES 100,000 as per the Insurance Act in Kenya.

Below are the requisite claim documents:-ensure details match those declared on the application form to avoid declined claim

  1. Duly completed claim form
  2. Original or certified copy of a valid burial permit
  3. Certified copy of the deceased ID/Passport or Letter of surrender of ID
  4. Certified copy of birth certificate for children
  5. Certified copy of the beneficiary’s ID/Passport
  6. Police abstract for all accidental deaths

Minimum Share capital offer

During our several meetings, we have listened to so many people who wish to join the Sacco and the directors have resolved to reduce the minimum share requirement for those who register within the next 3 months to 5 share @ kes 10,000 =Kes 50,000. balance to be paid at kes 5000 per month. However, to qualify for the Benevolent and Welfare Fund, a member must have paid for  2 shares (kes.20,000). The maximum shares limit for a member is 1000 shares @kes10,000.
